Lenten Soup Supper and Program Series
The Lenten soup suppers and programs will begin the following week starting on February 17th with supper at 6:00 followed by the program at 7:00 (signup sheets to provide soup will be on the tables at the back of the worship area). The general theme for our Lenten Programs this year will be focusing on what it’s like living as one who follows the guidance of a religion other than Christianity in our society. The participants include on February 17 – we are talking with Bud Johnson of the Native American Community; on February 24 – Harry Greenbaum on behalf of the Jewish community; on March 2 – Harsha Mistry on behalf of the Hindu community; On March 9 - Fathe Halaweisch on behalf of the Muslim Community; on March 16 – Phillis Cole-Dai on behalf of the Buddhist community.
