Noon Lectionary Bible Study &  Brown Bag Lunch  -  Wednesdays, Noon-1 p.m.

If the Christian calendar is the foundation for Christian worship, the first floor is certainly the lectionary. 

The lection (scripture lessons) for worship has been thoughtfully organized on a three-year cycle so that most of the Bible is covered within that time.  Scripture chosen for each Sunday supports the Christian calendar and is drawn from the Gospels, Old Testament, and Epistles.

In this study, participants consider the lectionary scripture for the upcoming Sunday, with an emphasis on contemporary applications of the themes within the text.  No prior experience in Bible study is necessary.
